World-record endurance driver Rainer Zietlow has officially touched down in Australia as part of the ID. Buzz World Tour, an ambitious global challenge aiming to secure a Guinness World Records™ title for the most countries visited in an electric vehicle on a single set of tyres.
Zietlow is undertaking the entire journey behind the wheel of a Volkswagen ID. Buzz, supported by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Giti Tire. Remarkably, the vehicle will complete thousands of kilometres across multiple continents without a single tyre change.
The ID. Buzz is running exclusively on Giti Synergy H2 tyres, selected for their ability to meet the extreme demands of long-distance electric travel, including:

Long-wear durability designed for extended journeys
Reliable, consistent performance across varied climates and road conditions
Australia represents one of the most challenging legs of the tour so far. Long distances, open highways, and unforgiving road surfaces make this stage a true real-world test, far removed from controlled conditions.
