Tyre manufacturing requires professional personnel, raw materials, machinery, and the best processes. Giti employees are passionate about producing better and safer tyres.
Perspective on Tyre Use
More than 60% of the world's oil production is used for transportation. For trucks and buses, tyres account for approximately 30% of the fuel consumption, or one full tank of fuel for every three trucks or buses. This can be saved by using the right tyres and maintaining them properly.
After years of research, GT Radial has successfully developed a tyre that uses less fuel without sacrificing performance, and has been validated by SmartWay, the US Environmental Protection Agency.
GT Radial also continuously strives to educate the public on how to maximize fuel efficiency with tyres, how to select and maintain fuel-efficient tyres, and provides professional guidance and advice to fleets and users on how to reduce fuel consumption and costs by providing the right tyres and related technical support. GT Radial will contribute to the sustainable development of the industry while creating environmental benefits for society.
Rubber Production Perspective
Non-renewable energy and raw materials are becoming scarce and increasingly expensive, making long-term use and conservation crucial. The challenge is to achieve these goals without compromising tyre performance, while also taking responsibility for the environment and the people who inhabit it.
In this way, GT Radial strives to reduce air emissions, water emissions, scrap and indirect raw materials, while increasing reuse or recycling.
